I specialize in product and interaction design.
From budding startups to the Fortune 200, I’ve had a lot of fun ideating on and contributing to a multitude of different products and services.
About me
My experience varies from working on BPaaS, B2B SaaS, and consumer facing solutions within the Fintech, Retail, Hospitality, Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Insurance, and Cannabis industries.
I enjoy collaborating with others to ideate and design on impactful solutions. When hard at work, I combine my skills in research, product strategy, product design, and visual design to create useful, thoughtful, and delightful product experiences.
Design is a discipline that allows us all to recognize and form relationships between ideas and reality. As a software product designer, I find joy in designing innovative and high-value digital solutions for our ever-changing world.

What others say about working with me
“Julie is an excellent designer who is always highly motivated to learn, improve and take on challenges. Her vast skillset from visual design, graphics, branding & identity, UI & UX design makes her a versatile and valuable asset to any company and/or team…
…She holds a solid creative side of skills with natural talent, and complements it with a strong ability for analytical and critical thinking.”
— Patrick Hansen, Sr. Product Designer at Dreamstage Inc.
“…While she appreciates structure, she also does really well when being given the opportunity to go broad with design direction and exploration. As an emotionally intelligent person, it's easy for her to empathize with the user and handle tenuous political situations well.
She is a constant seeker of feedback, and is very ambitious with her personal self and skill set…”
— Lisa Scala, Head of Product Design at Central Pacific Bank
“…we inevitably find ourselves in the midst of projects that have the capacity to absolutely break us spiritually and professionally. It was in this setting that Julie was allocated to a project I was working on as a reinforcement and she absolutely saved me, and an entire team of engineers and data scientists.
What impressed me was that she did this with very little direction, exponentially expanding scope, gating internal politics and extremely challenging stakeholders…”
— Steve Raetz, Head of Design at The Cognizant Accelerator
